Le suivre vendredi – Any Second Now

The week is almost over, and any second now Carmageddon will begin, turning the 405 into the most brutal and epic demolition derby ever!

But before that, we still have Friday to go through.

This week, I head on down a bit further south from the chaos to meet with a San Diegan blogger who loves Depeche Mode so much she was probably at the Rose Bowl for DM’s peak of power!

I clicked the link and viewed Cyrillyn’s blog through my BlackBerry–she, like yours truly, has a mobile theme–and after reading her bloggerversary post, I decided to feature her here very soon.

How is soon is now, by the way?

As it turns out, this isn’t Cyrillyn’s first barbecue regarding Any Second Now; the first version lasted for two years in the early 2000s, originally created as an outlet after the passing of her father, only to cease when the plot was lost. A few years and some life changes later, ASN 2.0 was born after Cyrillyn found a few cashmere cupcakes as well as the spark needed to rekindle her interest in blogging.

And what will you find in this reboot? Size conversions, for one thing; it’s important to know those things, right? Especially if you hit up your local fair and gain an inch or two from eating fried Kool-Aid, fried Klondikes, even fried water!

What’s that? Next year? I stand corrected.

And yes, there are outfit posts, adventures with the family, watching her husband kick ass as a amateur golfer, some great rewards now and again, and even some random stuff, too.

Why should you add Any Second Now to your reading list? Inspirational stories always do it for you, you’ve been needing a reason to do that thing you stopped doing a long time ago, and you know that any second now, you will add this blog to your list.

Why should you not add Any Second Now to your reading list? Why don’t you tell me for once, as I’m not inspired enough to come up with real or fake reasons not to follow this one. And besides, any second now, you’ll find another blog to your liking to add to your list, anyway.
