Long week. Was with family to send my stepmother Shirley to the great beyond yesterday. Would have been 48 this August.
But as my dad–and that show with Corky–says, life goes on.

I found Anika through the Full Time Fabulous Community, possibly through their Facebook page. I recall seeing a number of exchanges between a few of us on Twitter one day, and while I don’t recall the circumstances, I knew it was only a matter of time and opportunity before I would have her here.
As stated earlier, Anika is a budding designer who expresses her self through reconstructing clothing and designing other pieces–such as this dress that was a scarf–to fit her, and whose philosophy is about embracing who you are and letting the naysayers be damned. As such, Anika offers her big heart in a myriad of ways, such as featuring some of her favorite bloggers, sharing inspirational posts regarding self-worth, posts from her participation in Friend Friday and much, much more.
