The Week That Was – 16 September 2012 Edition

by Cameron Miquelon on 16 September 2012

Ever felt powerless? That has been my life since Thursday at noon, when the power was cut to the house where I currently reside. I couldn’t do much of anything — account is my roommate’s name, roommate is hardly ever home, couldn’t reach him until today, et al — to fix the problem, but now that the bill has been paid, I have to wait until the power is restored, which I hope will be soon.

Until then, here’s the week that was…

The Week That Was

This week marks the final full week of my 33rd year of life on this go around the Sun. May this 34th turn be the best one yet.

And no, I will not be changing the name of this blog to 34 avenue Miquelon; “33″ is the international dialing code for France, and has nothing to do with my current age.

Until we meet again — preferably with power restored to my current residence — I leave you with “Ruin” from Cat Power’s new album of original material in six years, Sun; the album was released in the United States 4 September 2012. All the best to you.
