The Week That Was – 29 July 2012 Edition

by Cameron Miquelon on 29 July 2012

In honour of NBC tape-delaying the opening ceremony of the 2012 Summer Olympics in London (which I actually watched twice thanks to Sir Tim Berners-Lee), here is a “tape-delayed” recap of the week that was…

The Week That Was

  • Introduced you to Alex McLean of Lex What Wear
  • Adopted officially the tagline bestowed upon this blog by Bella Q of The Citizen Rosebud: “The address for fashion, music, and culture”
  • Still working on the header image itself, however; I want my business cards to match the header and vice versa
  • Attended the wedding reception of my father and stepmother, which was scheduled so that those who weren’t able to attend the wedding in May — such as I — could still celebrate their union

Until Monday, I leave you with “Don’t You (Forget About Me)” by Simple Minds as performed during Live Aid back in 1985, a song which I also performed during karaoke at the reception. All the best to you!
